The Team

The team comprises
20 adult dancers and 4 musicians

Our Activities
  • We always dance to live music.

    Our musicians play a range of instruments including accordion, keyboard, mandolin, banjo, recorder and concertina.  Dances are introduced with information and humour.


  • Dancing in Kandersteg Switzerland

    We enjoy both hosting and visiting dance groups from abroad.  We have recently had exchanges with groups in Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.  In August we visited our friends on the Isle of Man as the Manx Folk Dance Society held a 5 day International Dance Festival to celebrate its 60th Anniversary.

We perform dances from around
the British Isles and
have entertained audiences in
middle England and overseas
for over four decades.

On show we always wear costume
and dance to live music.

A small example of our activities include
performing at various National Trust Houses,
the Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations, Festivals
and Charity Events.

We dance for a modest fee or for the
opportunity to “pass the hat”.
